ML64 by Tudor Tech

ML64

ML64 is a unique, highly versatile mobile imaging system for trucks and vans with 3 scanning modes, managed by a “driverless” subsystem that controls all the commands and parameters of the truck. Tudor Tech ML64 uses a high-resolution transmission imaging system comprising of in-house designed electronics and a dual-energy 6/4 MeV Linear Accelerator (LINAC) that is able to handle the most difficult situations and very high-density cargo (345mm steel penetration). High mobility on public road driving due to full conformity of EU-regulation related to total load and load per axes. Highest ground clearance gives better mobility off-road. Based on our international patented concept, the ML64 operators are placed outside of the exclusion area. This ensures that there is no professional exposure for them but also that they are free from harm in case of an incident during the scanning process.

Remote operation also means that we have significantly reduced the overall weight of the scanner making it the lightest mobile system on the market. This brings significant operational advantages such as the freedom to access all public roads without special permits, low fuel consumption and reduced operational infrastructure complexity. Additional safety is brought to the end-user by the implementation of advanced safety features such as automatic detection of unauthorised access in the scanning area and automatic anti-collision systems. These features allow the operators to focus more on the actual x-ray analysis and less on repetitive tasks that may distract their attention.

The ML64 is supplied with a traffic management system consisting of barriers, traffic light, dynamic displays and automatic licence plate recognition. Its operation is controlled by the software and integrates with the scanning procedure without additonal human intervention. The Command and Control center is supplied in various configurations covering all use cases – from a lightweight portable console to a separate vehicle for additional securoty operations to more permanent solutions such as office contrainers.

Operating software is provided with a perpetual licence and free lifetime upgrades. Being entirely developed by our software engineers, we guarantee that we do not collect or export any data to our or third-party servers. This way, all information and data generated by the system is exclusively in the posession of its owner. Advanced software features such as AI-assisted automatic threat detection, reference image comparison, organic / inorganic stripping and various filters assist the operator to achieve the best results in screening of the most difficult cargo. Our software automatically assigns x-rays to LPR and CCR readings and allows the operators to input text, images and scanned documents to the virtual file of each scan. The scanner can also integrate with remote databases and can be managed through advanced nationwide systems. Our integration solution allows remote supervision and image analysis for any connected scanner.

FAQ

frequently asked questions

A complete scan is performed within a few minutes, depending on the system type (Mobile, Portal, or Conveyor). This ensures high throughput and minimal waiting times at border crossings, ports, or logistic hubs.

• Mobile Truck Scanner – Fully self-contained, flexible deployment, scanning directly at different sites.
• Portal Truck Scanner – Fixed installation for high-volume scanning at borders or ports.
• Conveyor Truck Scanner – Automated drive-through solution designed for driverless scanning, delivering exceptionally high image quality.

The systems reliably detect weapons, explosives, drugs, contraband, and hidden compartments , as well as anomalies in the cargo structure.

Yes. All systems operate with low-dose X-ray technology that is internationally certified and safe for operators, drivers, and the environment. Drivers usually remain outside the cab during scanning to ensure zero exposure.

The scanners can handle standard cargo trucks, containers, and semi-trailers up to full international sizes (40 ft / 12 m and beyond), depending on the chosen system.
