For over 30 years, we have designed, manufactured, and deployed world-first, non-intrusive scanning solutions — from cars, trucks, and seaport containers to boats and even aircraft. Entirely developed and built in Europe at our facilities in Switzerland, Romania, and Italy, our systems operate successfully across three continents, protecting critical infrastructure, borders, and private facilities in the most demanding environments.

Our 10,000 m² Swiss site brings together advanced production, testing, and engineering for cutting-edge aircraft and cargo scanners. In Romania, our 6,000 m² R&D campus hosts 11 specialized labs and a rapid prototyping division, supported by a Scientific Board and Project Development Center. This hub drives breakthrough innovation and anchors our participation in major national and international R&D programs. We also operate the East European Center for Integrated Applied Research — the region’s largest interdisciplinary research facility. With a global distributor network and local partnerships, MTST ensures full operational availability through remote and on-site support. Mircea Tudor

Founder and Group-CEO

Driving innovation, defining strategy, and setting the success path for the entire group.

Businessman and inventor, Mircea founded Tudor Scan Tech and leads the group’s innovative solutions. He is the only person to have twice won the Grand Prix of Geneva Invention Exhibition (2009, 2013) for groundbreaking scanner technologies. In 2014, he was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Romania. Mircea also serves as an expert member of ACARE WG4 (Aviation Safety & Security) and CENELEC’s Industry Advisory Forum.

Sebastian Prange

Deputy CEO

Leading the Swiss headquarters with responsibility for international growth, strategic partnerships & alliances, and business development worldwide.

An economic engineer from the Technical University of Karlsruhe, Sebastian brings broad experience in strategy, sales, and international business development. He has held senior leadership roles in HighTech, Telecom, and Paytec across Europe, including Chief Sales Officer positions in Germany and Switzerland, and Partner Commercial Lead for the DACH and Nordics region.

Radu Curcan

Deputy CEO

Managing the Bucharest site with focus on R&D, testing, operations, and sales.

With a background in public administration, Radu combines deep insight into the complex interface between governments and business development in challenging environments. Bringing over a decade of experience in homeland security and strong technical expertise, he has led major projects with an impressive track record in strategic growth. As Deputy CEO based in Bucharest, he manages the Romanian site with focus on R&D, testing, operations, and sales.

Radu Tudor

Chief Operations Officer - COO

Ensuring smooth and efficient performance across production, purchasing, and daily workflows.

Radu Tudor is a young entrepreneur, with experience in developing and managing projects in various fields of activity such as border and homeland security, infrastructures, automation and recycling. With his willingness of challenging the status-quo and a clear vision in bringing the improvements, Radu was a part of MTST's production and management team and team leader for Roboscan Aeria, project awarded with The Grand Prix of Geneva Invention Exhibition in 2014.

Mihai Receanu

Chief Technical Officer - CTO

Shaping the future of our products through innovation, development, and service excellence.

With a background in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Mihai Receanu is working since 2014 in the field of design and production of Gamma and X-ray scanning systems, covering the following subjects: electrical & automation design, integration, product and project management. Mihai received the World Intellectual Property Organisation award at the Geneva Invention Exhibition in 2017, among other innovation awards.

Twice awarded the First Prize (Grand Prix) at the world’s largest innovation exhibition.
